                             Center School Preschool

The Willington Center School Preschool Program is designed to provide services to children with special needs within an inclusive setting.  Age appropriate peers are an important component of the preschool program.   Each year, peers are chosen through a lottery system.  The Preschool Program is free for all enrolled children.  Bus transportation is provided within Willington.

The Preschool Program has two sessions, morning and afternoon.  The makeup of each class is different each year but usually consists of three and four year old children.  Each class meets for 3 hours four days a week.

The Center School Preschool uses the Connecticut Preschool
Curriculum Framework as a foundation for the curriculum.
Progress is assessed using the Ct. Assessment Framework based on the benchmarks in the Curriculum Framework.
